What is PTE Training?
Launched by Pearson Language Tests in 2009, Pearson Test of English Academic or PTE Academic tests the English language ability of non-native speakers who wish to study abroad.
PTE scores are accepted by 6,000-plus universities in the UK, the U.S., Spain, France, China, New Zealand, and Australia. The test is conducted at the Pearson Virtual User Environment centres. The computer-based test is endorsed by the Graduate Management Admission Council.
PTE comprises three sections- speaking & writing, reading, and listening. The test is for three hours. Results are usually delivered within five working days.
Many study abroad consultants provide PTE coaching. Study and training centers employ PTE experts to design special courses and programs to help students become better listeners, speakers, and writers. Games and exercises are conducted to help students grasp language concepts.
What is the Passing score for PTE?
There is no passing score. Most universities accept applicants who score 58 or more (out of 90) in each module.
